Why did you choose the Univ. of Chicago for your residency training?
UofC is home to some of the best critical care/cardiac training and faculty in the country. The patient population is challenging. We get some of the most complex and sickest patients in the country. If you can care for this patient population, you'll be successful anywhere.

Why did you choose Anesthesiology?  Masters of physiology, pharmacology, echocardiography, pain management, and critical care. A physicians physician. What else could you want?
