Why did you choose the Univ. of Chicago for your residency training?
The biggest reason was the culture of faculty willing to advocate for their residents. In an increasingly competitive fellowship match and job market, I think this is something that can make the difference for your career.

Where do you live in Chicago (area of the city) and if you like that area, why?
Ukrainian Village. It’s a quiet area that’s up and coming with lots of new condo quality apartments and reasonable rent. Close to Wicker Park and West Loop for food/drinks. Great neighborhood and I still haven’t finished exploring it.
